This is my life right now with chronic pancreatitis. I have lost 40 pounds in the last 2 years and getting 16 plexus block shots to help with the pain. I'm on 4 mg of hydromorphone 7 or 8 a day. Going to see a specialist in NYC and talk about taking it out. I'm a laborer and working is becoming a major issue and I don' think I can last too much longer.

You can live a normal life without your pancreas. You're just an automatic diabetic for the rest of your life, and you have to have some major changes in your diet. It would be tough, but you only have one life.
