Mr. Shiffman, this was terrific - I’m a retired old guy having spent nearly 40 years in software development but only at the tail end needing to deal with github - I wish this video had been available then. “Fork” vs “pull request” was never clear to me until 3:00 here and suddenly a light bulb that has stayed dark through countless other articles and videos was turned on. Not that I need it now, but just sayin’. Thank you.

I am a SW engineer for 35 years and worked with a lot of Configuration management systems (I was also a manager of SW departments). I have no words to express my admiration to the way you explain so shortly, clearly and accurately a complex system in a simple manner. You are an artist!!!
