TF2 Finally has got a NEW 64 BIT ENGINE. It brings FPS and stability improvements. but there is a nuance. It's not working for some players, so Valve needs to fix that.... once again. Oh, and Objector crash exploit has been fixed!

One uncovered perk... the bots haven't yet all been put to 64 bit, so for the next day, or even a few more, servers will most likely be bot-free!

Ever since macOS 10.15 Catalina, 32-bit games stopped being supported on those machines. I know quite a few who needed to get new Windows computers in order to keep playing the game. With the engine now being 64-bit, that's just step one into the game potentially being able to run on them again, including the Apple Silicon hardware. I've wondered how the numbers would be on a suitably-configured machine, so maybe that reality will be upon us in the foreseeable future. Who can say?

I loaded up the game, joined two queues, got booted back to the menu. I will be back when they update the localization files.

I have also noticed that the bots in casual servers are "gone" (?), I'm not 100% sure, but, I haven't seen one in 20 different casual servers.

The malware issue and some crashes have already been fixed since this video went up 4 hours ago. They work fast
