Portaferry Trip August 2022 During Sails & Sounds Festival

Here is our latest trip. Like last year we return to Portaferry in County Down, Northern Ireland. The weekend we visited had the Sails and Sounds Festival running. There were events all over the town but we only took in a little of what was going. We stayed in the lovely bed and breakfast accommodation called "Fiddler's Green" now known as Roomz. I give a little glimpse of the cheapest room in the house which has an external private bathroom. I also show you events in the Portaferry Sailing Club where a traditional music session was going on, followed by Hookes & Crooks from Wexford singing sea shanties. Finally we take a ferry ride to Strangford, just across the lough.

A really friendly place to visit which seems to have something going on everytime we visit.
