POM212 Road Earthworks Design Tool 3GEO2 (2013) (GR)

This was a Group assignment for Year 3 Land Surveying/Geomatics Engineering Students of the Cyprus University of Technology for the POM212 Professional Skills for Engineers II module. Students in groups of 6 had to design and create an MS Excel Spreadsheet to analyse spatial data and create a long section and up to 11 cross-sections, calculating the earthworks. The students had to create this analysis tool for other students or engineers, which had to be full-proof, create a user's manual and a video tutorial again for users. The scope of the exercise was for them to synthesise their analysis skills and create something which is user friendly, presentable and reliable.
