Speakers Corner !! Br Muhammad speaks to 'Born Again' Christian Lady

Salaam Aleikom and hello to all viewers!

Out of arrogance or ignorance, and sometimes just unwittingly we might speak imperfectly about Islam, which is perfection.
In the Arabian Peninsula, before Islam, female children were buried alive, and people used to worship idols made out of different materials. This Pre Islamic period is called al-Jaheleya, Days of Ignorance, as the people of those times were executing barbaric practices, terribly immoral, unjust and inhuman.
In the above video there is a mention related to Omar Ibn Khattab (RA), the Companion of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (PBUH) – which makes reference to his memories of the days of Jahileyah (Preislamic times/days of ignorance) which has to be corrected as follows:
In one occasion, a few companions saw Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA) laughing and then crying; one after the other.They asked what had caused that to happen to him. He said: "I remember that in the days of Jahiliyyah, I used to have this idol made of dates. One day, I became so hungry that I ate a piece of it. And then, I cried when I remembered digging a hole and burying my daughter. Whilst I was putting her in, she reached up and brushed dirt from my beard.”

The companion of the Prophet found funny the fact that out of hunger he dared to eat the idol he used to worship, and surely this act was a representation of an inner disbelief, a sincere yet involuntary act that showed that his heart and mind did not recognise that idol as divine. Omar Ibn Khattab wouldn’t be the only acting this way, nevertheless this contradictory action wouldn’t be analyzed until the prophet Muhammad received Revelaton. Only when Islam existed people would ponder about the idols and their supposed divinity.
It was a normal and accepted practice to bury baby girls as society believed they were a shame. The Holy Quran describes how the situation was before Islam:

"And when the news of (the birth of) a female (child) is brought to any of them, his face becomes dark, and he is filled with inward grief!
He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with dishonour or bury her in the earth ? Certainly, evil is their decision."
[Surah al Nahl (The Bees)16:58-59]

Allah condemned and prohibited the menioned practice:
"Indeed lost are they who have killed their children, from folly, without knowledge, and have forbidden that which Allah has provided for them, inventing a lie against Allah. They have indeed gone astray and were not guided."
[Surah Al-An'am (The Cattle) 6:140]

This is why Allah tells us in the Quran that these children will be asked in the Hereafter:
"And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned.
For what sin she was killed?"
[Surah at-Takwir (The Folding) 81:8-9]
