I have thought of a plot for this series, to try to make sense out of stuff that just doesn't need to be made sense of anyway.

Robert is trapped in a cartoon world along with his friends and family, some curse or something trapped them in this alternate cartoon dimension, and everyone had to get used to living in it.
But the more the real life people do stuff they would in real life, and stuff cartoons wouldn't do, like murder and using the bathroom, the more the world deteriorates, and stuff like the car committing suicide happens.
The humans in the world must now decide whether or not to destroy the cartoon world and be free in reality again, or save the inhabitants of the cartoon universe and live annoyingly happy in it forever.

They seem to want to be idiots, though.
