-What color is a Mirror?
And no, it's not silver, stick to the end to surprise your friends.
A mirror for the most part reflects all light, we can all agree, so we could say that maybe a mirror is white? Hm, no, you see non-reflective surfaces , like a paper, reflect light in a defused way, on all directions, so we see it as white, whereas reflective surfaces light is reflected in a specular way, in only one direction, so we see exactly what was reflected. So i guess we could say a mirror is all colors and no colors at the same time depending on what is being reflected? ALSO NO, THATS NOT A GOOD ENOUGH ANSWER. Mirrors, in general, are slightly more prone to reflect light with the wave length of 495-570 nanometers. Green light. Ye. So if you place a mirror in front of one another, and see their reflections going back and forth, since some light is absorbed along the way, you notice that mirrors are actually somewhat green. Yes, Mirrors are just a leaf... Pls follow.

Most mirrors reflect a little more light in the green part of the spectrum, which gives them a faint green tint. This happens because they’re typically coated with a layer of silver, which reflects visible light but slightly absorbs other wavelengths, especially around the edges. That’s why when you look at a mirror edge-on, you might notice a faint green hue—it’s a subtle effect, but technically, yes, mirrors lean a bit green.

Their green tint is caused by silica
