We need more people from Spain showing at the ring.. The dude is basically taking a nap while Misha is flying.. 🤣

Misha has an ever so slight smirk when the car feels just right.

As a Miata owner, it’s nice to wake up to a Miata themed Misha video on your birthday. I love the ND

It is gratifying to see an MX-5 with the same spec as mine give a good account of itself on this demanding track. This owner’s build is still a sports car, it’s NOT a race car. The result is a comfortable and drama-free excursion of the course at respectable speed. The sports-car marriage of modest power, low weight, first-class shifting, steering, and braking, and a fully adjustable all-alloy suspension, result in a high level of engagement, and therefore maximum driving pleasure. A skilled driver like Moshi demonstrates for us the car’s effortless ability to manage transitions. In addition, the wide powerband and close-ratio 6-speed (no overdrive) means the engine is at the right revs on all parts of the track.

The speeds attained by the car around the course are impressive but not scary. The chassis is never overwhelmed, and the driver’s skill is rewarded without the need of a 500 hp engine. Honestly, a GT3 would be wasted on my middling skill level: I’d be too afraid of screwing up to have much fun. But then, I am not a racer. I can drive my ND2 nearly flat-out without apprehension because its modest acceleration gives me time to think ahead and plan for the next corner. Once I get to that corner, I don’t have to stand on the brakes before the apex, and I carry more speed through and out of the corner. There is a tendency for more powerful cars to fall behind mine on a twisty road because they lose so much speed in the corners. If you find an ND2 inadequate for back-road dicing, you might want to ask yourself if your velocity is excessive on an unpredictable public roadway.

Misha and a manual car is a never disappointing video

This gentleman’s like Misha’s father - zero expression and “Ok, kid show me what you can” 😂

I love the look on Mishas face through the first couple corners as he realizes how much speed he can carry through. Awesome car.

The calmness of somebody who can actually feel how good of a driver you are.

The ND Miata is one of the best drivers cars on sale today. It’s really good even stock and track modified like this one it’s really, really good.

And that's why Miata is always the answer. They are just so fun, so satisfying to drive and so dynamic. My dad had 2 NBs and currently has an ND MX-5.
I drove both and absolutely loved their road feel and chuck-ability. Yes they are momentum cars but damn good ones and you can still get it sideways pretty easily on stock tires. So good.

Also: I've never seen a passenger on a Nordschleife lap look this disinterested and bored - I bet he wasn't but his face just didn't move :D

What a coincidence, I just test drove MX5 ND 2.0 (160 ps though) today after trying a trackday lesson and a few more laps on my Cupra Born. Which sadly is too heavy for its own good in terms of breaking and tyre wear. Especially the lack of a differential is very noticeable. Tyres are screaming for their life in every corner. MX5 felt so composed in comparison. Now I stumbled over Mishas channel again after years of abstinence. Thanks for the video. Gotta love the MX5 coverage ♥

Muy bien preparado el Miata! Sólido en las curvas y predecible en los cambios de dirección. Felicitaciones!❤ Misha, you are good as always!

This thing puts on speed so much better than Robert Serwanski's NC in his 7-37 lap ... I'm enjoying alt tabbing between the vids corner for corner and seeing the differences. A well-sorted NC with stock engine internals vs this ND with two people ... makes me wonder what is possible from a similarly cranked up ND.

Jose is part of the soul of the ring and one of those persons that make this place so special.

If someone with an ND BBR Super 220 kit want to let Misha drive on the Nurb that will be great 👍🏻

Recently drove an ND for the first time and it was a massive shift in perspective for me. It was a ND2 with Feels coils and 245 performance tires and everything about it drove so sharply. And the 181hp in the ND2 is more than sufficient

This just shows you how brakes + suspension > power. Seems like a great car, props to the owner.
