This artwork was a bespoke order from one of my customers.
Made out of Special type Chevre & HCP(TCIM) Alligator leather and the Initial stamp + renewal design stamping option was added.

All the leathers used and the way of making this luxurious leatherwork are the same as the French luxury leather brands.

No cheap fabrics were used and no bare flesh sides have remained on the backside. All of the parts are fully leather-lined and it is not an easy process to achieve the slim linear thickness between several layers of leather. This is one of the reasons that French luxury leather goods are expensive.

Wonderful craftsmanship and attention to every aspect of the wallets construction. Burnishing the edges of a just completed hand saddle-stitched piece of leatherwork is my favorite part of finishing up the piece. I've been working with leather for years and used to sell my pieces in several Boutique Apparel Shops, Art Galleries and to various Clients. Unfortunately, I haven't made anything new since I started to learn how to play the Harmonica. Watching you working with leather, cutting, measuring then hand stitching your piece and burnishing the sides with that chunk of wax plus whatever else you use to create such beautifully tight perfectly rounded leather corners and edges... well, seeing you work has reminded me of how much I actually miss creating a belt, notebook, a bag

absolutely exquisite work. Bespoke is by far the way to go if you are spending the high dollar amount demanded by luxury brands already. I LOVE the alligator and would love to have a leather piece with an open umbilical scar. I understand it is considered a fault on the leather but I think it would lend some character to what it's made with
