How I make over 10k a month as an upwork middleman

Maybe this makes me a "guru" but I just can't give away everything I know for free, I'm sorry. I want to help people, but trying to help everybody requires a lot more time, effort, and energy than I initially thought. And doing everything for free just took time away from me running my own agency and I wasn't really able to help people because I was just giving 1 sentence answers to very complex and complicated questions.

So, I created The Mogul thinking that it would be better to FULLY help 1 person, than to partially help 100 people. Everything, all in one place to help someone succeed to the best of my ability while getting paid for my work. I'm pretty confident I can bring anyone success as long as they are willing to put in the effort on their end. Thomas, as someone who makes something that requires a lot of detailed work and quality attention, how do you ensure the quality of the work of a subcontractor if the client doesnt know theyre not paying you but someone else? Ie that your reputation is held in tact, work is delivered on time etc? Or are you always open about the fact youre referring the work away to someone else?

It's interesting as a wannabe entrepreneur I was always drawn to the "middleman" strategies the most, probably because as you mentioned int he video, they don't require hundreds of hours of specialized skills, just being able to use marketing to actually find the people that can provide those skills. Even my most recent interest being Real estate wholesaling, its just a fancy way of being a middle man between a home seller and a homebuyer.

Turns out there is a lot of money for the middle men out there, just takes a lot of work upfront to get it rolling lol

Basically recruiting-talent sourcing. You do need to do the pm though which shouldn’t be an issue if you make your margin. Solid idea if you have industry knowledge. Worth trying.

Can we charge a flat rate even though we have an hourly-charge concept?

For eg. You mentioned your hourly charge is 15$/hour and let's assume, you quote a specific client 300$ for a project. Doesn't the client ask you why it takes 20 hrs(300$/15) for the project?
