Lansdowne is a cantonment town in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. It's a small hill station named after Lord Lansdowne, one of the viceroys of India. Unlike other popular hill stations like Shimla or Ooty, Lansdowne is small and lack promotions of the tourist departments, thus it has remained not-so-famous among tourists.
