preview_player
Показать описание
Internet poaster Ryan Turnipseed was recently the subject of excommunication in an LCMS over his associations online, recording his confrontation with his pastor, and his criticism of frankly perverted changes made to his denomination's catechism.

Ryan joins us to discuss what has happened to him, what will happen next, and what the future holds for this important conservative Protestant denomination.

This whole thing is terrible. This is not how we should be treating a thoughtful, faithful young man.

Andrew, on behalf of all millennial Christians in the United States, thank you brother. Keep doing what you’re doing, we need someone from the reformed church to stand up for the millions of Americans with absolutely no voice at all.

Absolutely sickened by the actions of some members of the church I was raised in. Legitimately questioning whether my children will ever step foot there or not. Thank you for covering all of this with Mr. Turnipseed.

Thank you so much for having Ryan on. He is a brave brother in Christ. I pray that we can turn back the rot in our synod and in Christ’s church writ large. I ask that others will pray for this as well.

Excellent! Ryan, may you stay true to God’s truth!

I left the LCMS because of that trash catechism. I was correct in doing so until they're ready to fix themselves. Hopefully Ryan's story helps force that change back to tradition.

An amazing conversation. I hadn’t heard of Ryan until a week or so ago. I appreciate his witness, and ability to express himself/explain the situation. While apostasy exists across the theological spectrum in the United States, I definitely see God raising men up to stand on Truth.

Huge missed opportunity! Not one question about his hair. I've heard from a reliable source that if you weave his hair into a loom Ryan would lose his immense strength.

Ryan is a very well spoken young man! I was saved in a very conservative Bible-believing LCMS church 20-odd years ago, (I left as my beliefs were more aligned to reformed covenantal baptist), so sad to see LCMS degenerate like this. That being said, we must be loyal to Christ not a particular denomination. I’m sure when Ryan marries and has children he will pass on his Lutheran distinctives and history to his children.

This is really sad and shows that the LCMS is not immune to leftism and is, in fact, probably falling to it. We still have the WELS that is doing ok... for now.

Ok look he's pretty based but why is his hair so long?

Did the congregation follow proper synodical processes? It doesn't sound like it.

i know this will seem like the least important thing in the world, but Ryan if you see this, please cut your hair. I was a long hair guy too for a long long time, but please consider how having long hair runs contrary to everything you stand for

Surprised my boy Turnipseed agreed to this interview as Andrew is a younger, not fake and gay version of Harrison. Like, if Harrison had testosterone at all.

Is the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod a better fellowship for conservative Lutherans then?

All the same old clichés, "Is it woman, is it man?" And you always seem outnumbered so you don't dare make a stand [Chorus] Oh, here I am. On the road again...

"We are Christians because that is our duty to God; we are racists because that is our duty to nation. And all duties flow from God. To fail to be racist is to fail to uphold the order of creation as established by God, to fail to uphold the Fourth Commandment as written by the finger of God, and to become astorgos — a thing more demon than man. We can no more yield on this matter than we could yield on the truth that Christ is both fully man and fully God." -Corey J Mahler
