I love this video and I have been searching for more about this bird for a long time. I never found a voice record of the bird, that is so wonderful. One time, I heard this voice near Hanthana, when I was back in the University. However, I never had time to compare what I heard until to date. Thanks for the video. So amazing.

Please give me any contact details people who know more about... . An owl looks same has appeared in our area(india, kerala) in 2010, 2012 and its making same sounds like this ... During its first appearace people were afraid to go out at night.... Then people spotted the bird in evening 6:30, 7:00 . The bird screams like little baby, sometimes they make sounds like Even i too seen the bird.... Its a huge From 10 to 14 years its still here... Before this period no one has ever heard about this bird here... We dont know ... From where it came....

This is 2021 still in my land and nearby this sound I can hear. mostly in between 6 - 8 pm if sunset about 6.00 pm. now this sound is very familiar to me, what I am doing replying with the same sound.

When I'm small me too afraid of this sound. they are living in the forestry hill behind my home and coconut land.
If anybody visits my place it is very easy to record his sound. of course.

I dont think myth and science always have to be at odds. I've worked around forest science for years in australia, and the Aboriginal people (Nyungah boodjar in my area) have many stories about the animals, who their spirits are, how they emerged, all that. And for many of them, the storie are compatible, becacuse the aboriginal stories talk about the *dreamtime* which they see as a sort of spiritworld that inhbits this world but is also kind of separate (The "dream" part of the name is not a coincidence. The "time" part relates to how they see all time as sort of coexisting together, sort of simultaneous but spread over time, ie the past is here with us, as is the future). So they are fine with there being both a scientific explaination AND a dreamtime one, and to them, both are true.
I can see a similar trade off being possible evaluating the Ulama. It is indeed an owl, but perhaps its OK to allow it to be seen as an omen spirit of a deceased infant or however precisely its understood by the locals. You may well find the local folks are fascinated by the science, without necessarily seeing it as contradicting or contradicted by their spiritual explaination.

Last night I had see the Devil White birds turn in to beautiful birds in my dream. In my dream the bible told me her name. it is in Matthew because I read in my dream. But When I wake up I search in google, So I found it. My dream is so true because the bible say in Matthew 13:4 but I don't see her name in this Matthew. I don't know why I had this strange dream and Why my dream is so true. I believe Jesus warning me about this dream. maybe the devil come closes to us. We must be careful.
