I think fusioning flower and spike would make more sense to give bowser junior and when you give him the mushroom becomes bowser but dispite that it’s a really good concept

Besides the obvious parallel with Pokémon, I am also reminded of the series of "GROW" games in Flash, which are based on selecting items in the right order to complete the task, and sometimes have unique alternate endings. It's rather nice =)
