I remember making such hard levels that i couldn’t beat the giving it to my dad then he beats it first try! dream come true.

I remember when I was in first grade, there were 2 kids in my class that was really into mario, and during free times during the class they would always pull out a piece of paper and draw a mario level and pretend that they were playing it by imagining that their finger people were mario going through a stage. Whenever someone mentions mario maker, I'd always think of how happy those 2 kids were when mario maker released.

I love Mario games. I love level editor games. I used to play games like Super Mario Flash and they were awesome. Was cool when Nintendo came out with its own official level editor Mario game.

The funny thing is, Mario maker was already thought of after the release of Super Mario Bros.

And if you lived long enough to buy Wii U you you had access to Mario 3 with more levels which is awesome.

Fun fact: smm was originally just the way nintendo made levels back then, but they found it fun enough to be its own game. So they pitched the idea and it got the green light, and thats how we have mario maker.
