So what do we do when our spouse has fallen away. I am a sister in the church. i am struggling to find my place in everything. I was married in the temple over 30+ years ago. My husband broke his covenants and walked away almost two years ago. I love my family and want our family to be eternal. We have four children and all of them are struggling with depression/anxiety due to a lot ot trauma we have experienced as a family. I spent time in the temple this morning and know God has a plan. I have not had a calling in my ward for several years. My current stake president was my bishop five years ago. He called me in when he bishop. He told me he wasn't going to call me to a ward calling. He said he had fasted and prayed about a calling. The Lord told him my calling was to be the strength of our family and support our children. My greatest calling is to be their mom. I have tried to help my husband to seek help, but it has been in vain. I am now going to see a lawyer. It is not what i wanted to do. I just need to move forward in doing those things God desire of me. I love my husband very much, but i need to turn him over to God. My heart is heavy with sorrow. I cannot heal my husband or make him change. I will continue to pray for him and love him. I need to focus on myself and our children. I know that through God the power of the priesthood can work in my life.
