OMG SUNNY! I only just saw this video ... and you featured MY Channel 😱 and my most popular video "How To Bake A Cake" in it!🥰 That is such an honour, thank-you. The really weird part is, I've been your loyal fan now for a few years and I just wanted to watch one of your older videos and this one popped out to me. But guess what? After, first if all being shocked (in a really good way) to see you talking about my video and channel as an example of Gate-Way videos, I looked at the next video you had published and realized that, that the next video was the first video I ever watched on your channel! I haven't missed an episode since then, but totally was unaware that just one week prior to becoming your subscriber and huge loyal fan, you had featured me in your video! WOW! That is so cool! Talk about Law of Attraction! AND since learning from you, the video you featured in this video has gone from 1 Million to over 5 Million views and my subs have gone from 10, 000 - over 40, 000. PLUS after my coma, waking as a lung patient who could no longer bake, I've made a huge overhaul of my channel. I just wanted to share my story with you because I'm just completely in awe of the fact that you featured me on your channel and that I only noticed because i happened to click in an old video while waiting for your next new one to come out. WOW! BIG BIG HUGS🤗🤗🤗💖🤗🤗🤗💖

👍🏼Thumbnails - 4 words max + your face
👍🏼Editing - consistent + on brand
👍🏼 Description - title + hook + consistent
👍🏼Other platforms - share + play to the platform
👍🏼Titles - look for 'breakthrough' video titles for gateway videos

Sunny, this was by far my favorite video of your lately!!! So many easy to apply techniques! Thank you ❤️

Hey Boss, I LOVED the bright "sunny" gradient background! It was very pleasant and inviting to look at and it totally drew me in!
It suits you well!!

Started YouTube a few weeks back and from all the things you and others have said it seems like for most slow and steady wins the race. So staying consistent and improving after each video is what will allow for us to succeed on YouTube. I'm slowly doing that for myself and having a lot of fun with it!

Gateway videos truly are a gold mine. Thank you for breaking down how you come about finding them! Keep it up Sunny! I'm going to search for some now:]

Thumbnails... something which makes a huge difference. I started to pay attention to them and shoot them separately before I even start recording my video few weeks ago and I noticed huge difference. Thanks for all your videos... you are doing really awesome job.

Hi, Sunny. Thank you for all that you do. My favorite style of editing on this platform are "cuts only" editing, which are just straight cuts between clips. I like using the branding elements as ways to extend the brand, as well as a way to showcase brand diversification, and tie everything together, along with the message. For my channel it makes sense, but for others that produce more cinematic content, the story would dictate the picture cutting style, pacing, use of B-roll, audio and visual effects, all of that stuff. 😃

I love how Sunny practices what she preaches and that is evident on her channel. I also enjoy how she goes into so much detail! It is really helpful to me ( a small YouTuber ) when she does those things! And it's also super fun when she engages in the comments! It is really cool to get a reply from her and it gives me so much encouragement! #BossClub #byoBOSS

I really like the way you apply advanced logic to this subject without sounding too technical. That's why I watch your videos!.

No more than four words on a thumbnail, I’ll definitely keep that in mind.

Thanks so much for all your tips, Sunny! I only found your channel today and innediately started following. Every video I watched (can you say 'binge'?) brought something new, but brandnew, to me. Just starting a channel so all the advice is AWESOME!!!

I need to get better at sharing my videos on social media. I upload 5 days a week and feel that it would be overload if I was sharing my videos everyday. Thoughts?

The thumbnail really grabbed my attention, but the only reason I clicked on it was because I remembered who you were. So visually it was 1) grabbed my attention, then 2) read the title. So yeah I'm glad you threw in that caveat! Because it was totally true for me!

The title and value of this video is definitely what captured my attention. But I believe that the professional aspect of your thumbnails is definitely attractive too!

I really love the clean backdrops in your office. This video was super helpful and I know now to limit my thumbnails to 4 words. I was definitely solving the worlds biggest problems w/novels on some of them over on my channel!!! THANK YOU!!!
