The New Rick and Morty Voices Sound GOOD?

The new Rick and Morty voices have FINALLY been revealed with the season 7 trailer and they sound...pretty GOOD? Although you'll notice a slight difference between the new voice actors and Justin Roiland, Adult Swim has managed to land on some solid matches that capture the essence of the characters pretty well! But if you ask me their real time to shine will be Season 8. Why? Let's talk about it!

We were all wondering if we would learn who voices Rick and Morty in the new trailer, and Adult Swim really just said, "Well yes, but actually, no."

I think Rick’s voice sounds more mellow, not necessarily rough and drunk or condescending like he usually sounds. Morty, I couldn’t tell a difference, just sounds a lot more confident which matches his character growth. Should be interesting to see.

I loved how in Solar Opposites, they just straight up gave Korvo an entirely different voice with a different accent and just made it canon in the series like "Whoops, he sounds completely different. Oh well, moving on."

Imagine in the credits of the first episode of this season they credit the new voice actors as “redacted” instead of using their actual names.

I can very easily see these new voices grow into the roles over time, especially when seasons 8 on will actually allow more freedom since they will no longer have to worry about matching the existing Roiland track.

Honestly, I Think The Voices Are Pretty Similar But Slightly Different Enough

I like the New Voices for Rick and Morty, yes they aren’t the same as the Original but it’s a good enough Imitation of the Characters, I’m supporting This as much as possible.

I would say this is another case of equal exchange, but I'm not so sure anymore.

Their voices do sound a little different but Morty sounds more confident and Rick sounds more mellow which suits their character arcs very well

It's weird that they didn't take Justin back once his charges were cleared... The ones that got him dropped in the first place.

It's almost like getting roland's not actually a voice actor and him just slightly changing his voice in two different directions is really easy to replicate

It falls into the uncanny valley for me. Like, theyre very close but when rick gets excited or yells (which he does a lot) it sounds really weird. And morty sounded spot on for most of it, but at the end when theyre in the ship he sounds absolutely nothing like morty, its like he huffed helium.

Good or not, I don't like the idea of people's entire roles being replaceable the moment a company thinks they can just "get rid of them".

I still don't like how People(mostly Men) get Fired over Allegations. REGARDLESS of if Justin was Guilty they should've atleast Suspended him and waited for him to be Proven Guilty or Innocent.

Actually like both voice actors and I'm 100% happy for them to have this type of opportunity in their lives. Hope they enjoy voicing two iconic characters
