Let's be real Jamie is an actress & she knew she had to turn on emotion to distract people from the fact that she is the child of Hollywood royalty, which means she has connections that Angela doesn't. If Jamie went up there & showed it didn't mean that much to her she would've received A LOT of backlash. Jamie is a good actress, but Angela is an PHENOMENAL actress. I like Jamie, but I've never seen anything of hers that has substantially moved me or brought me to tears. But with Angela she has MANY times because she's performing for you from her SOUL. We have to be 10X's better to get less than half the reward. I've never seen Angela be so sad. That's the look of knowing an award was stolen from you. She's been flying high & they had to put her back on her place & remind her of the world we're living in. Angela has done SO MANY iconic roles, but if we're comparing these 2 just based on the performances of what they're nominated for, they're galaxies apart in the quality of the work. Angela so sorry that after 30yrs of pouring your SOUL into every role, it's not your work that counts.
