In Pursuit - The First Epic Ride Of The Year

'Now I know that Spring will come again, perhaps tomorrow'. Feeling moved by the Edwardian poet Edward Thomas, Si organised a bike ride from Bristol to the south coast in pursuit of spring. It was a similar cycle that inspired Thomas to write a moving pastoral book about the English countryside, and helped form his career as a writer and poet in the pre war era of the 20th century. Conor, Manon and James joined Si for our first epic ride of the year, and whilst not everyone was impressed with the poetry or history lessons, the sun came out and we had saw signs of spring everywhere....

GCN is quality, September 2019 I was 16 stone, I was reborn back to cycling and introduced to GCN on YouTube, today, I’m 11 stone, riding up to 10 hours a week and charging towards my first 200km solo ride supported by my family, keep it going guyz and gals, it’s great to view and very inspiring 👊
