Cape Malay | Butter Chicken Curry Recipe

Here is our Butter Chicken Recipe Video made with our special home made butter chicken spice mix which you can purchase for R30 for a 100g Tub (All spices needed already mixed)
Serves 4 to 6 people
Ingredients
30g-40g Cape Malay Deli Butter Chicken spice mix
1kg Chicken Fillet
1 Large Onion
500g fresh tomato (Pureed) or 250ml of canned tomato puree
500ml Plain Greek yoghurt
250ml Fresh cream
60g Butter
1/2 tea spoon of salt
Instructions
Melt butter and sauté chopped onions on medium heat
Add cubed chicken breast and brown slightly on a low heat
Add all remaining ingredients and stir through
simmer on a low heat for 30 to 40 minutes until chicken is tender
Sprinkle with freshly chopped coriander before serving with a side of your choice
PS. At no stage must the chicken boil make sure its simmering on a low heat to ensure you get the best results.
