Sterno Stove Modification and Trangia Burner Review

My new stove and alcohol burner. I have ordered 2 Esbit stoves since this video.

awesome awesome awesome!!! I just did the modification you showed & all I needed were a pair of pliers & vice grips.  I didn't have to build anything nor do I have to lug an extra piece of junk just so I can have a modified stand~  I've seen people building stuff, cutting, shaping, etc & this one was the path of least resistance & doesn't require reinventing the wheel.  Great info & thanks for the video~

I took the lid of a tuna can and notched it out to fit over the front hooks. The lid lay's flat and can stay in the stove when folded.

My military Svea burner fits just right without any mods to sterno stove.

your burner will be to low for the pot on mine a tuna fish can up side down in there then the stove on it is about the sweet spot
