My mom has gone thru this procedure. It was a very long, stressful, scary process to get thru. So many episodes that were sometimes either frightening, stressful, or both. Mom’s mental state was very weak as well, but her spirit was too strong to give up. I can tell you now, mom is cancer free. She has been doing her check ups every week to be checked of anymore Lymphoma and which they have shortened her visits because how strong and quick she’s recovered. No more two times a week appointments. I can strongly say, that the Car-T procedure did help mom still wake up to another day here on earth.

Sweet! I can’t wait to hear about the clinical trials! My best friend is now in a situation where she will be in clinical trials for cancer treatments for the rest her life. Eveytime a treatment stops working she moves on to the next one. She actually talks about her cancer as a chronic condition rather than terminal! I adore this woman 😊. Known her since we were 7 (41 now). She is just the most unexpected, unassuming ass-kicker. She has done more (she has a doctorate in education, which she continued pursuing right through her first treatments) while actively fighting her cancer than most people do in a lifetime (myself included).
Keep up the mad science, guys! It’s beautiful!

Any time I think of cancer, I think of my old roommate who moved from I think it was Ghana. He had learned coding from books as thats all he had and was working on a better way for ai to recognize possible cancer. Last I talked to him the American medical association wanted him to fly to discuss what he was working on. Hope you're doing well James : )
