COWBOY BEBOP is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka “cowboys,” all trying to outrun the past. Whether this show is good or bad, I definitely think more trailers for movies and tv shows should be like this. A non-spoiler encapsulation of what the show is about, showing character dynamics and personality. So, show aside, this teaser gets an A+ in my book.

This is definitely "the lost session" because it's something great in a sea of decent-at-best. If the editors, directors, writers, and cinematographers had only put the same effort that was put into this into the actual series, it probably wouldn't have been cancelled 3 weeks after release.

John Cho feels like a much older, worn-down version of Spike. He'll handle the depth nicely, but the carefree, playful vibe of Spike is missing.

John Cho has somewhat convinced me, but he's missing his confident playfulness of the anime Spike. The other two... This is a more aggressive version of Faye versus her aloof chilled con artistry, really off. Mustafa at least acts like the old man focusing on paying the bills like the anime. Probably the most accurate actor.

Ok so they're going for a campy 70s vibe. I can kinda see where they'd pull that out of the animation. I'll give it a chance and I think people need to remember the original anime is still there and you can still watch it. Why the hell would anyone want them to redo the animation? It's great as it is. We really don't need an anime reboot. Maybe a continuation or a prequel but a reboot? Stop
