Just found ya channel and subscribed. I don't do upholstery but thought about giving it a go, I'm a flooring installer and my fiancee does carpet overlocking we got a machine for. She wants to do other types of binding on the edges so might be in the market for a walking foot machine. Hello from New Zealand.

Can you recommend a good pair of pliers to pull on the fabric when stapling? I'm thinking of a pair that have jaws a little wider than the run-of-the mill pliers at a hardware store. A pair to pull evenly as much as possible? I just finished recovering my dining char seats, the first time I've ever worked with heavier fabric than aircraft covering, and just used duck-bill pliers to get a better grip on smaller areas. Any better idea? What do you use?
