Disgaea 7 Coming to the West + Limited Edition announced

Disgaea 7 has been announced for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC in the west. The Limited Edition has also been previewed, which can be seen in both the North American and European NISA stores. Release time frame is fall 2023.

One suggestion for a video. There’s a 10th anniversary Senran Kagura t-shirt in existence. How does someone in the USA acquire it, other than eBay? The logistics of buying LE items from other countries is kind of a mystery sometimes unless you know people who live there.

I find the inclusion of auto-combat very odd, and offputting. The grind to 9999 was almost like a game within the game, getting statisticians and managers etc. Something fun to do that felt like progress. Now, it seems more like: "Look, we made this super awesome game. We also put auto-combat in it so you don't have to play it!" These are just my personal opinions/suspicions of course, I haven't actually played D6.

I may wait for reviews. Since the transition to 3D I've waited for them to kind of properly hash it out. Plus I still have 3, 4, and 5 to work through anyways

Really sad they decided to stick to 3d for Disgaea 7. I feel like starting with Disgaea 6 the franchise started its down curve. I used to get really hyped every time I would see an announcement for a new title, but now it just doesn't feel the same anymore.

I got Disgaea 6 on steam, yes auto-battles were introduced and actually made things slightly better for grinding

I still think the sprites looked about twenty times better than 3d models do, but these ones look better than d6 at least

This is a nice return to form for Disgaea after the letdown 6 was. It's the first Disgaea I didn't buy.. I just wish they gave more fanservice - it's really dwindled down to almost nothing. I'm tempted to get this one, but not sure yet. It's a steep price.
