The S.P.I.T.™ (Small. Pocket. Inverted. Tanto.) is a variation of the beloved S.P.E.W.™ (Small. Pocket. Everyday. Wharncliffe.), designed by Alan Folts of Melbourne, Florida. With a shorter fixed blade than its cousin, the S.P.I.T.™ features enhanced portability, but it keeps the large handle for extra leverage when cutting.

Love your work, Mr. Folts. As a life-long outdoorsman and martial artist, now instructor, I find your knives to be perfect for my EDC AND Tactical Belt-Rig; the perfect sized fixed blades, if you know your anatomy.

I own the entire Minimalist collection, plus the Blade HQ "Chutulu" and "Gears" models. Had the S.P.E.W for years now. Even my wife carries a Minimalist along with her other self-defense tools.

I especially appreciate the so-called "Katanamalist", it's my absolute favorite, with the Persian in a close second.

after 3 month carrying the S.P.I.T. I can say that it is a really, really good EDC-knife, incredibly sharp, easy to re-spharpen and with its blaze-orange scales it looks amazing. Another home-run, Mr. Folts!👍⚾️🏁
