Maria LINNEMANN - Antonino (Vals Venezolano)

I'm very honoured to play 'Antonino', a beautiful short Valse Venezolano that Maria Linnemann composed last year and was so kind to dedicate to me. I surely hope that she (and you) will like my modest rendition, it took me quite a while to 'nail' it, as a 2nd year student; it's extremely nice to play though, so well written for the guitar.
This piece is one of many treasures to be found in her collection 'Soledad' which was published in 2008 by Ricordi. Highly recommended for all you classical guitar players! Google and it will be found!:)
Thank you again Maria!

Brilliant! - Bravissimo!!! You do the piece
full justice, Jasper, and I'm very happy indeed to be able to listen to you playing it here on youtube; you really are amazing,
you know, playing this as a 2nd year student
of the guitar - but after all, I know why I dedicated 'Antonino' to you!
All the stars, and all my best regards,
Maria

Thank you Janie, it's a lovely piece to play, it was quite hard for me at the start but I just kept practicing and suddenly it sounded almost like the piece as intended.
Best regards,

Hallo liebe Sarah!:)
Thank you so much, you will enjoy playing from her collection. Jolina and Juergen Schenk posted some nice pieces recently, I think you must have seen that already. And our friend Peo of course.
Still, cold and wintery in Germany? Same here, I enjoyed your snow pictures a lot! Have a great weekend!
