Police believe remains found in Detroit home belong to missing mother of 4

Gwen Parks has been doing everything she can to find her loved one, 33-year-old Latima Warren, a young mother of four, including a newborn, since Warren went missing on Dec. 22. Late Monday, Parks got Detroit Police to serve a search warrant at Warren's home on Vaughan Street on Detroit's west side after she discovered Warren's clothing, baby formula dumped in the back yard, and a patch of dirt that had been dug up.

They reported her missing Dec 22nd 2021 and yet a search warrant was just issued??? The fact that her friend was doing the investigators job is really sad.

This reminds me of the New York case in 1997 of Anita Stewart Timmons and her two sons who were decapitated in their home by her husband Richard Timmons with an ax. This happened in the Ravenswood houses in New York City and it shook the community. I was a kid at the time but I have never forgotten her. Domestic violence is no joke, find the courage to leave a toxic situation ASAP! 😔

She had been missing for weeks, yet her remains were just now discovered inside her own home? Why would it take so long to get a search warrant? Was the boyfriend totally uncooperative from the very beginning? At no time was he ever considered a person of interest in her disappearance? This is bizarre.

Missing mom, bf refused entry, wreaked of cleaning fluids, but cops never went there until after the mom led them to him. That's not right. I see who the real detective is here. I'm sorry for her loss. What an evil thing.

They “raided” the home? No, they entered the home after a missing person’s report was filed for her. Bf killed her but he was still in the home so they needed a search warrant.
