This is the best video I have seen so far on Cassandra, thank you so much. However, I am still not sure if Cassandra can answer queries on different partitions. It is somehow said implicitly, but it would be nice to take a query that would not work in Cassandra. For example, in the employees table, if using the id as primary key, is it possible to have a query like: select * employees where city="x" ? What about indexes?

Isn't replication and Partitioning different concepts? In partitioning part, you started explaining how partition is happing and then under Ring and Token you changed to replication directly. I am little confused.
Partitioning is dividing a data into smaller parts and storing across nodes while replication is storing same data on different nodes. Can you please clarify on this?

Wrong Keyspace is not database, keyspace is analogous to schema in rdbms. if keyspace is database how can you drop it?
