My first real hiking backpack, a Baltoro 75 should arrive in 6 days. I'm stoked. That orange color is dope. I feel like I made a great choice.

@Gregory Packs Great pack EXCEPT the hip belt pockets are still too small for modern smartphones. I can't believe you all failed to address that problem, since there are many people who complained about it.

Glad you posted this video! I just bought mine today and had no idea what everything was for on the pack! I just loaded it up with gear and it feels great so far!

I have a Palisade from 2003ish that I love and is still going strong. I've tried several other packs but none of them carry nearly as well as my Palisade. This one definitely looks really sweet, I'm gonna have to try one on.

Call me old school. I’m the one who frowned at the front loading/unloading. I prefer top loading only. Less chance for leakage. Zippers can also fail, especially under that kind of stress.

I recently decided the covid/couch potato life isn't for me. I devoured you-tube vids, forum posts, user reviews and settled on the Gregory Baltoro 65. My kit is nothing close to an ultra-light backpackers and that is by design. I have no plans to do a 3000 mile thru hike. My backpacking will be limited to 2-3 day outings and likely won't stray all that far from the trailhead. But when I set up camp, I will be comfortable. I'll have a chair to sit in, a roomy tent to sleep in, a thick pad to sleep on and fresh coffee in the morning. You ultralighters can keep your frameless packs, your thin pads and your instant coffee LOL

I bought a palisade in 2010, loves its padding, adjustable to fit hipbelt and good frame. But my only complain is the coating material bottom part of the bag is now peel off. Great to see this new design, but im still doubt with the A3 system on the hipbelt to handle the heavy load. Do you have any dealer in Malaysia?

I decided between the osprey aether plus, tatonka yukon, deuter aircontact pro and gregory baltoro. I chose the baltoro becuase of the amazing clean look, huge comfort, and smart organisation.
The other three are all nice backpacks and are a good choice as well, but for me, the baltoro was the best.

One Question: Since there is no summit pack / hydration bladder holder included anymore - where can i buy one from gregory?
