Kaja Kallas stated that the European Union is ready to take lead on Ukraine if the United States doesn’t want to, even though this would have huge financial implications. Olaf Scholz has blocked a military assistance package to Ukraine, which Analena Baerbock and Boris Pistorius have been advocating for. Robert Fico has threatened Zelensky and said that if this situation continues regarding the Russian gas transit via Ukraine, then Slovakia will take meassures. Russian Armed Forces have taken captured more settlements not just in Eastern Ukraine, but also in Kursk.
