Today the vaccine and related biological products advisory committee (VRBPAC) met to review and recommend the Moderna’s mrna-1273 vaccine for COVID-19. The committee recommended the issuance of emergency use authorization (EUA) with a 95% yay.

Moderna’s EUA request (presentation):

The voting question was:
Based on the totality of scientific evidence available, do the benefits of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine outweigh its risks for use in individuals 18 years of age and older?

Again 95% said yes to the above statement.

I got my first dose of moderna this morning, felt like I had gotten a B12 shot I had energy all day! Slight soreness at the injection area but so far all is good!

Moderna. Potentially more reliable due to less restrictive cold chain and therefore ease of use in outpatient setting.

I would choose Pfizer vaccine but this is not based on the comparison given in this video. The reason for my preference is that Pfizer has many medicines already developped, approved and in use, while Moderna had none before the covid-19 vaccine. And to me, experience matters as regards competence.

Until all the vaccines can be compared, I'll stick with the I-Mask+ protocol. Finally took my first 2 doses of IVM so things seem a bit brighter indeed.

Thank you for all information on these vaccines, i'll just not take the either vaccines since i already had an anaphylactic reaction to the med. Lisinopril, along with other allergic reactions over the years, but that's just me. Everyone else will have to decide for themselves. Take care, stay safe, and God Bless

Thank you for your information; very informative. I just got my first Pfizer shot this past Friday. I did have some bad side effects. None the first day accept a sore arm; second day terrible joint pain. So bad I had to take an analgesic to even walk without pain. The third day, I wasn't able to taste my food as well and then I had stomach pain and terrible diarrhea later in the evening and was unable to eat dinner at all. Today, the fourth day, I"m back to normal. Just a bit tired. The joint pain and diarrhea were enough to make me hesitate to get the second shot as everyone says it's worse.

My preference would be Moderna, for a simple reason. With a vaccine that must be kept as cold as Pfizer, and which has as short a shelf life once warmed, it would seem there are more ways for things to go wrong.
