I remember going to high school in 2004, and I had gotten myself into Alice in Chains the year prior. I bought Badmotorfinger and it blew me away- still does. Such power, such style!! Guitars chug like buzzsaws and that low-end bass really gallops along with the drums. Amazing band. Probably the most technically gifted of the "Seattle Sound."

I was only 5 when my dad bought me San Andreas back in 2004. Damn, Radio X became the only radio I listened to. Didn't know what is rock music, metal, grunge etc, but I loved the sound. That's how I discovered Soundgarden. What a legendary band. RIP Chris!
