I don't see what the collar has to do with it?

If the point is that she acts differently without it and it can't phase it out the way trainers phase most training tools (heeler's box, target stick, clickers for example), she needs more work.

Also, dogs act differently when they know there is a barrier. It's still a good training opportunity tho
