Had a morning out in Leeds a few years back and couldn't find a thing to shoot. Wasn't in the mood and I had my creative eyes closed. Best shot of the day was at a railway station on the way home. Might give it another go James, thanks for the inspiration.

Favourite building to shoot where I live ( Blyth Northumberland) is the old Police Station. Great looking building. Love shooting it in black and white, can't tell if the photo was today or 1940s. Some great shots mate, cheers.

Hi, James.
The Ricoh is a great camera, and the one you have is with a 40mm lens.
The JPEG photos from the Ricoh look really good, buddy.
Black and white and square format, this is what I use every time I go out.
As you know, I am disabled so I can only go out when the weather is decent. This is also the reason why I now photograph still lives indoors in the square format.
A stable format that I really like to work with.
Especially when I do close-up work.
Then making a composition is much easier for me with a square format than in a 4:3 format.

The only problem here is that this was not Street photography, it was Urban photography. You were photographing places not people.
