The term receivable is defined as debt owed by the customers to the business concern or seller arising from credit sale of goods or services.
Receivables are also one of the major parts of the current assets of the business concerns. Payment from debtors are received on a later date.
It is also known as Account Receivables or Bills Receivables or Trade Receivables.
