i love a good gravy smothered sandwich! as an american viewer, i haven't heard of the hot chicken, and will have to be trying this for myself

What a delicious looking sandwich. Here in the US, I remember having open faced turkey sandwiches the day after Thanksgiving. 1 slice of bread with turkey piled with whatever leftovers. And of course, lots of gravy. Enjoy your vids! Need to keep this sandwich in mind next time I have left over chicken. Don't think we have that gravy in TX.

As a fan of gravy, but not soggy bread, this sandwich has always left me feeling conflicted. Have long wanted to try a rework of it. Using dressing/stuffing, put in a waffle iron to create bread part. Will let you know if I ever try it.
