I had this version on the DS 30th anniversary CD. I remember trekking on my bicycle in the worst chilly weather to buy the last copy that my retail music store had. It was worth freezing my butt off. I became a huge DS fan around the same time the launch of the original Sci-Fi station aired on cable TV in 1998 when I was in my early twenties. 🙂😁

The scariest part of Dark Shadows more than Barnabas Collins and Angelique was Grayson Hall’s part in Dark Shadows is that she looked like my maternal grandmother. When I was in boarding school in high school they replayed on TV Dark Shadows. I was still unnerved by Barnabas and Angelique but no longer scared of them as much. Quentin was my favorite. Something about those sideburns of his I guess.

Fine version. Excellent theramin sound. The Blue Whale's juke box.

This is not the Barnabas Theme, this is the opening credits scene, theme song, with the waves crashing at Widow’s Peak and showing the front of Collinswood, Barnabas Collins did not show up until episode #211.

Sounds an awful lot like the theme song to the '91 Dark Shadows series. I wonder if that was Theremin also?
