Is the 2025 Yamaha Tracer 9 (gt +)(Y-AMT) the perfect Sport-Tourer?!?!

Yamaha just lunched all the new 2025 900 Tracers including the 9, 9gt, 9gt +, and all of them with Yamahas new Y-AMT (like on the mt-09 and 07) as an options as a rival to ktm and Honda's dct. So is this the best sport tourer for the money? Or maybe the out right king all toghether? Well vs the 2025 Triumph Tiger 800 sport that just launched last week, this was great timing.
Personally, I'm just hoping it comes to Japan.

Suspensions are not electronic. They are just semi-active and the preload must be adjusted manually. Yes, manually.

Yamaha's new automatic looks pretty terrible to me compared to the Honda e clutch system, that one still allows you to ride it like normal. I see no reason to get something like this if you don't have a disability that makes it hard to ride normal bikes.

I think that new MT-07 is also a bit of a let down, the cruise control is only on the automatic! That still leaves it behind a lot of the competition, though riders don't seem to care one bit because it's still the best selling naked bike all over, even before this update. What I'm more excited for is the XSR 700 update, adjustable usd forks on that would be heavenly, and in that retro class there's a lot less competition.

I think this is the best looking tracer yet. BUT. Who wants to bet the high beams are on throughout the whole promo so it doesn't look stupid? Bet they do that japanese thing again where the headlight looks broken most of the time because only half of it is on and people keep telling you about it and you have to explain that it's supposed to do that, again and again and again. So annoying.

Great engine, good on paper but overpriced at the very time that the market is seeking value for money and that front end is so ugly even it’s mother would be appalled.

If it isn't a Tenere 900 it's a hard pass from me.
