Warframe TennoGen #1 - the basics

In this tutorial I'll show you how to set up your workspace, how to get all necessary files, how to get TennoGen app itself, and how to use it to create and upload your own skins.

Somehow the item won't appear when I upload them into Tennogen   :(    
(p/s:  It was in .obj format, I exported it from Maya Autodesk)

Every time I try to do this It keeps getting saved to microsoft 3d bullshit and makes it a .fbx and I don't know what to do...

AO is *NOT* specular. It is ambient occlusion. Curve is *NOT* roughness. It is curve.

So, would I need to play Warframe on Steam for Tennogen features? Or if they are approved they are just in-game?
