Istanbul Forest Fire

Istanbul, Turkey -- Took a walk with my friend Erdem around a lake in an eastern suburb of the city. The weather was hot, dry, and windy. We noticed the smell of smoke on our way out, but thought it was a barbecue. Then the local fire brigade arrived on the scene, and we watched them scramble to put out a fast-moving fire that had been started with a carelessly tossed cigarette.
