Trying NEW Burt's Bees Makeup 🤔

Hey guys! Today I’m testing out a ton of Burt’s Bees makeup!! I’ve been asked so many times to review the foundation, so I decided to test that our along with the new concealer, lipstick, and more! The brush-then-sponge technique has literally changed my foundation game
Such a useful trick

Just a tip, a lot of brands like NYX and Catrice, among others, have mix in drops in white and dark shades that are just like pure pigment and you add them to your foundation to make your perfect shade. That way you don’t have to buy multiple shades of the same foundation. You just pick the one you think will be closest and use the drops to adjust. It also helps for the different months, like I can still use my summer shades of foundation when I’m much lighter in the winter because I just add the white to it to make it match. It really is so helpful and because they are so pigmented you only need a very little, so they last a really long time too. And they don’t change the formula or finish of your foundation either, so you still get the same look that you would without. Thought I’d mention that and hopefully it can be helpful to you or anyone else reading through the comments 😊

That stick highlighter didn’t work for you because the best technique is to apply the highlighter directly to your sponge or finger tips and to dab it into your cheekbones. I prefer a sponge. When you draw directly on, the force is too harsh and will move products underneath. Most products would move using that method.

I love using the BB foundation for an natural everyday look when just out doing errands. It’s definitely not near full coverage but it can be built up to a medium coverage, however by end of day it can seem to disappear especially if it is not set so not at all ideal for special occasions. What I appreciate from BB is that what I’m putting on my face are natural ingredients.

Most all of the tutorials on Burt's Bees make up / cosmetic skin care line are more derogatory, I find the products the best I have ever used. Your skin feels healthy when using them, no burning, no drying out, you can really tell the quality in the natural products are so healthy for you. Remember people: most of the ladies doing tutorials are getting kickbacks, cash and lots of free stuff, the general public can and often is 'tricked' into buying the big names.. I will stick with Burts Bees, I have tried many brands, and fell in love with the Burt's Bees BB cream, lotions, skincare etc, so give it a try you may fall in love with them


Just an older lady's comment, not a make up guru , can say I much prefer this natural line of Burts Bees over ALL brands I have ever used, 'all', even against expensive brands... just love Burts Bees, it is worth it's weight in gold.

The Burt’s bees blush in toasted cinnamon is my absolute favorite blush! It’s so beautiful on my skin tone! I bought it because Kathleen lights raved about it 👍🏼☺️

I used to be obsessed with burts bees Chapstick. I have never tried any of their make-up though. Thank you for trying these out!

If you have drier skin this foundation is so good. BUT if you’re also someone with dry/watery eyes (🙋🏻‍♀️) this foundation does not last around the eye area. Any water or tears breaks down this foundation like nothing. So don’t sweat, cry, or dunk your head in a bucket of water!😂

I love the stick blushes! I have 3 colors. But I wear them with tinted moisturizer on my good skin days for a very natural look, when a matte powder blush would look off. I'm not surprised they didn't work very well with full on foundation and powder.

I've actually never tried anything from Burt's bees other than things like lotions and their lip balms. I was quite curious about their new (well... new to me) foundation. I've heard mixed reviews. But excited to see what you think! 🙂
ALSO: I wanted to add in something about the Milani Conceal and Perfect Foundation really quickly! I know you mentioned that as being one of your favorite foundations, but you had to mix 2 shades. I recently went to pick it up to try out, and found that they had 2 NEW shades, newer than the 00A and 00B. They now have a 00AA and 00BB. The 00BB says it is a fair-light shade with neutral undertones. It's a bit darker than the 00B. That's the one I picked up and it's actually a pretty darn good match! I figured I'd mention it because we have a very similar skintone and figured you might want to try that one out to see if it's a better match for you! 🙂 sorry for such a LONG comment! LOL.

Have u tried the brand Kokie, they have these new artist pallets, and liquid highlighters!! I'm so curious of their brand, no-one like uses it!! I'm to scared to try, I am so bad I stick to stuff that works for me!

You need to apply the stick products with your fingers or a brush, not directly from the tube on your face.

The products that I was most interested in are the blushes and the moisturizing liquid lips. Thanks for trying the new products out, I think I will definitely try these out.
