Supergirl, Kara Zor El, has gone through many changes over the years at DC Comics. Introduced in the Silver Age Superman's cousin is now no stranger to headlining her own series, that was not always the case. 1972 saw the first Solo series led by Supergirl (bearing her name, I see you Adventure Comics lol) and it was...a bit of a mess. From turning into Medusa and taking out the Justice League, to fighting Zatanna over a giant snowman this series took twist after turn. The late silver age and early bronze age deliver a comic like no other, and we explore it all here on Casually Comics.

I am convinced that there is a Villain who is just kidnapping people close to Supergirl to get her attention and she just outright ignores it (because she is trying to get a date). And this explains why so many of her characters never return, I also imagine this villain being constantly annoyed about this.

Yeah, her solo run costume, which consisted of a choker, a tunic, hot shorts and pixie slippers us so freakin' 70's, and it kinda works, and I stretch... Kinda. Thank God she's Kryptonian, because she can't feel the cold, so rock that look, because once the 80's hit, it's nothing but flair from there.

I remember this run. I loved her costume, Superlad, and the VERY rare appearance of Nubia (other than her debut, she only appeared a total of twice before Crisis wiped her out of contnuity [for awhile)]; the other being an issue of Super-Friends.
