Can you imagine being friends with Laura? "Popping over" with some cookies and ice tea, meandering through the gardens, chatting about the flowers and plants and their future plans? One can dream....

Thank you so much for your videos. It has been the best reprieve from our crazy world of the virus, wild fires, and earthquakes, . I am enjoying our new Limelight Hydrangeas, some Quickfire, and “We Bit Giddy” that I have planted, which I wouldn’t have known about except for your tutorials. I’ve also put in water timers, a new lawn area, built a rock garden, and a pink azalea hedge.

I’m in The Fraser Valley of British Columbia and it hasn’t rained for about a month. We’ve had three “heat domes” this summer, which is unheard of until now. I’ve set up the water timers so that they go off for an hour each morning and we have a beautiful garden now. I have lived in Vancouver all my life, and I can remember a July where it has been overcast and rained every single day. This year, my Heather and sweet peas didn’t survive due to the extensive heat waves despite my best efforts.
Thank you so much Laura for your love of the outdoors. All I have to do is water the lawn, do some weeding, or pruning and it makes my day, so to a fellow gardener thank you for sharing!!!

Was watching this just now and heard a strange noise in the audio background.... then it got louder; so I paused... and Lo and Behold... after 70 days of drought/no rain....IT WAS RAINING!!!! We are up in British Columbia, ... in the Fraser Valley.... the Berry Capital of Canada... the farmers lost a huge amount of Raspberries due to the never ending heat... and now the Wildfires burning in our Province.... so the sound of rain is ever so lovely... we just opened all our windows... such cool and fresh weather! Hopefully the rain moves towards our "Interior" area, mid province, where it is so badly needed.... Love your video today! So green and lush... what a wonderful Harvest after all your hard work!

Showing the beds' different plantings throughout the season was an awesome addition to this video!

Are you overwhelmed yet girl? I know I would be. That is so much to take care of. And remember that you need to do a certain task. I only have a half acre which we expanded too to this year. I know you have help but it still a lot. Loving the videos as always and I’ll be back for more.

This space has always been one of my favorite spots on your property. It has a classic garden feel and always seems to be so productive.

Adding flowers amongst your vegetables creates great diversity in your garden which attracts both beneficial insects and pollinators which equals a healthier garden- not just a beautiful garden! Love your channel! Thanks for the motivation!

I nominate burnage as the new word of the year. Expresses the meaning of crispy edges so well! Love it

You can "blanche" the beens by pouring boiling water over them, then putting them in a quick ice bath drain, dry off, and store in gallon bags in the you can find time and room in your freezer...then Cooke them like frozen beans from the store. Loved the show today. GOD youngest grandson started college today to be an areospace engineer

What a wonderful world we would have if everyone worked as hard as Laura does at improving things!

My grandma would always have a row of zinnias in the front of her garden right next to the grass. It was so pretty!

I love the new format with you narrating! I can certainly understand why the raised bed area were put on the back burner, you have been busy with the new area! For me it is always a rewarding feeling when I go out & harvest things from the garden! I agree everything looks so good cleaned up! 😊🍅🥕🌽🌿

Such a privilege to grow your own food, but it does take work and time. The old adage you reap what you sow! Watching you harvest pleases my soul! TFS💐🧡

“My years kinda go together in this space. Do you get that way?” This made me laugh a lot! Yes, it happens to me a LOT! Makes me feel a little relieved actually, that this happens to someone your age. I was thinking I was going crazy or senile and feeling old.
Great video, and sooo satisfying! This area is JUST AMAZING! 💚💚💚
