Can You Beat Pokemon X With Only Black Shinies?

Black Shiny Pokemon are the coolest ever made and in this video I'll only be using them to beat Pokemon X! As if the hours upon hours of shiny hunting weren't challenging enough, I decided to also make this a hardcore nuzlocke! What do you think the final team will be? Can we even beat this challenge? Why am I asking you these questions? Watch to find out!

Nuzlocke Rules:
1) Can only catch the first Black Shiny Pokemon on each route (species and dupes clauses in effect)
2) Fainted Pokemon are considered dead and must be released or permanently boxed
3) No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 member's ace (before the start of battle)
4) No items in battle (Held items are okay)
5) Battle mode must be on "Set"

Funny thing: about a few months ago, I bought a copy of X to replay the game. I wanted to shiny hunt Froakie as a joke (because Greninja is my favorite shiny of all time). I’m not kidding you when I say that I found it in 4 soft resets after starting my adventure

Charizard is one of the few pokemon who have had their shiny changed. It was originally purple and green or something, but was changed to black and red. I kinda wanna call it Charizard favoritism, but some other pokemon have had their shiny form changed such as Arbok.

Shiny hunting is hazardous to your health lmao

I know it’s not helpful now after the run has been finished, but shiny hunting the Kanto starters doesn’t require you to battle each time. Just have a party full of 6 Pokémon before receiving the starter. You will be asked to make room in your party and can save at that point meaning you only have a short conversation with the professor each reset. I managed to obtain a Bulbasaur in 2000~ SR’s this way.

An interesting shiny run you could do is the ‘is this shiny?’ where they don’t look any different from normal

One thing on the honedge, modest isn't necessarily god awful, you can still make use of it via shadow ball and flash cannon
Also, for me the best shiny gotta be the porygon line in general, that lavender color is beautiful
