Hope the people of Venezuela keep protesting until he's removed. Bangladesh also JUST overthrew their Government! Maybe cuba will be next as well..

Bless you guys for sharing your story, and informing people of the horrors of socialism. Socialism is the baby of communism.

I STAND with the Venezuelans fighting for freedom. Good on them for recognizing their error quicker than other nations before them. May God bless their efforts!!

This has been happening to the people of Venezuela for more than a decade now and they did not allow any news to come out, they were also stripped of internet and food. It’s been horrible for them. 😢 🙏🏼

Tom McDonald said it best, Freedom ain't afraid of violence. If as a people you've said enough is enough, you have to rise up in any and every way you can to claw it from the hand of your opressors in power.

This goes to show you the power of the media. If they want to sit on a story that’s what they do. People are fed and they’re too complacent to do a little research.

Why isn’t the media talking about? That’s what the people in the U.S. should be asking?

We need to do the same in the US. But people need to stand up to corporate control of our government. They have privatized everything. Schools, hospitals, Medicare, prisons, ext. We need a government for the people by the people.

I have only seen a few clips of this, but you are correct about it not being widespread news (at least where I live in Texas). I appreciate your coverage and perspective. It is probably very strange for you and Joel having been from Cuba and that system of government, then coming to the US. While you've been here you've seen and documented the Texas border, gone to Washington to not only tour it, but speak with representatives and see the White House, and recently have gotten to watch a debate in a Presidential year, and likely saw all the recent things on the assassination attempt for a political candidate. I bet your thoughts on all it is not only unique, but probably more educated and "real" based on your life experiences living in multiple systems of government and witnessing how it affects culture and society in different countries. I'd be curious to hear an unfiltered thought about that and any insights and/or pitfalls you and Joel may have.

All I can say is… ¡Viva la revolución!

Being a socialist has nothing to do with being a dictator. Most dictatorial figures in politics are in no way aligned with socialism. Maduro is just a dictator *who calls himself* a socialist. Hope that he is finally ousted though..
