I prefer the previous dashboards with dials. Looks much better and less cheaped out than a single screen

MotorWeek is still one of the most concise and comprehensive and best formatted automotive review programs. I began watching this show when I was in middle-school and I'm in my early 50's now. It's great that John Davis is still narrating.

18 speaker Bang - Olufsen should sound really good.

Real knobs for the controls are the correct way.
No touchscreen nonsense for the basic controls.
Good job Hyundai and great to hear John.

@2:04 Actually the pre-refresh model had more storage on the center console. And this conjoined screen setup looks awful to my eyes! BTW very healthy performance numbers, this thing is faster than a TLX Type S while weighing 500lbs more. Let that sink in for a minute...

They should have kept V8 in it from original Genesis. And have the other engines as options

I can remember watching this show in West Germany while based at Stuggart Army Airfield and at Wurtburg

Nice car! Thing looks like a boat in the slalom but that’s to be expected.

Modern vehicles are disposable appliances. I don't want a giant screen. I want gauges and buttons, knobs, and dials to control the radio and HVAC. I don't want all the unnecessary technology that raises prices and breaks after a few years. I don't want lane keep assist, automatic braking, or any of the other garbage every modern vehicle seems to have.
I know how to drive. I don't need the car to monitor my driving. I need it to start, move where I direct it, and not fall apart after the warranty expires.
It's not a bad looking car. I'm glad it's not a garbage crossover. But I wouldn't buy it. Regardless of price. I've decided to not buy anything made after the early 2000s. My favorite vehicles are from the 60s to 80s. But they're getting harder to find. Especially at an affordable price
