Around 4.4 million children under the age of five in northern Nigeria are acutely malnourished, according to the United Nations' World Food Programme.

That’s more than double last years figures, the organisation says.

Families are grappling with high food inflation and security concerns, and many can no longer afford to feed their children.

Nigeria has a population of 229 million people, it has one of the largest populations in Africa and has the highest GDP. What exactly has this got to do with us they have a government they have large military they have a health service in the cities they have a very western style of living Surely they can sort their own mess out

It's NOT a food problem, it's an education and cultural problem. Stop having children you cannot take care of. These people havetoo many children, expecting the children to do all the work for them.

Not only for Nigeria, but for everyone everywhere, don’t breed irresponsibly when you don’t have enough resources to raise children.
